FABRICATION CELL:
DIRTY WORKSHOP

The fabrication cell is a fully equipped ‘dirty’ workshop containing bench tools, hand tools, airbrush workstations, and an endless amounts of paints, adhesives, and resins. This setup supports all design, fabrication, and manufacturing needs for students’ course materials.

With an entire wall dedicated to 3D printers and hi-definition 3D-colour scanners, our students can create like-for-like replicas, concealments and/or bespoke camera accessories using computer-aided design CAD.

The fabrication cell is equipped with the following, but is not limited to:

The workshop is designed to accommodate up to six students and one trainer. It is light, airy and spacious, providing ample room to manoeuvre.

The fabrication cell serves as an ideal break out area for those participating in our rural technical placement courses, supporting all deployment and concealment preparations.

This area is truly at the heart of our facility, where we design, fabricate, and deliver custom work.

COVERT INSTALLATION & CMOE CELL:
TECHNICAL WORKSHOP & IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENT

Covert installation and CMOE go hand in hand, so to complement these specialist skills, we have created a fully immersive environment within its own dedicated building.

Our fully equipped covert entry workshop supports all requirements and levels of lock defeat techniques, including technical alarm defeat.

With the professional key-cutting machines and specialised tools, our trainers can elevate your skills to the highest of standards.

The installation cell is equipped with the following:

Direct audio/video installation tools
Reverse audio/video installation tools
Covert vehicle installation tools
Silent drilling equipment

The CMOE cell is equipped with the following:

Student work-stations (6)
Key cutting machines
Comprehensive student tool kits
Specialist MOE equipment
Technical alarm defeat equipment

We have built a functional two-story skills house for the practical application of lock defeat and alarm bypass, which can be part of the deployment of covert audio and video devices behind walls, ceilings and under floorboards.

TECHNICAL CELL:
CLEAN WORKSHOP

Our purpose-built electronics lab provides students with their own fully equipped workstations.

These stations contain professional-grade tools, soldering equipment, test generators and a full spectrum of electronic components.

The clean workshop is the main hub for delivery of our non-attributable technical solutions training and bespoke, customer-driven electronic projects and programmes.

The technical cell is equipped with the following, but not limited to:

On-shelf consumables

As with the fabrication cell, this area is light and airy with plenty of space to accommodate six students and one trainer.

The technical cell is fully configured for the delivery of our covert networking and WI-FI exploitation training.

Our technical trainers have a wealth of knowledge; they are ‘area-specific engineers’ who are happy to discuss any technical issues you may have and finding solutions in this secure environment.

Our professional tactical and technical systems, solutions and covert innovations are on the shelf and to hand.

This offers an ideal opportunity to visit the facility and test our equipment in real-time with support from our subject matter specialists who are on hand to answer questions and conduct capabilities demonstrations.

Our capabilities cell runs regular workshops throughout the year which offer hands on training sessions introducing new equipment, technologies and tactical practices.

DESIGN CELL:
BRINGING IDEAS TO LIFE

For over a decade ISTF has conducted in-house design, research, development and consultancy to our clients to manufacture mission-tailored covert tactical and technical innovations.

We conduct rapid prototyping for our customers operational requirements, hosting a fully functioning design and manufacturing cell with area specific engineers we can turn almost all ideas into working products within a quick time frame and with no minimal quantities.

Our design cell is equipped with professional CAD software which enables us to draw complexed items accurately proofing the concept on our internal capabilities.

We can work with a multitude of materials such as composites, plastics, resins, textiles and metals in rapid produce items which in some cases are operationally time sensitive.

THEORETICAL CELL:
CLEAN CLASSROOM

A large well-lit, comfortable, and spacious ‘clean’ classroom that supports the learning needs of up to 12 students.

This classroom is equipped with a state-of-the-art fully interactive ‘Clevertouch’ media solutions for PowerPoint delivery, planning, preparation, briefings, and the delivery of online e-learning sessions.

The room is completely reconfigurable to suit all class requirements.

We do not believe in offering training courses that we cannot fully support internally without having the correct kit and equipment on the shelves.

This investment allows us to deliver training at short notice and anywhere in the world without having to rely on outsiders to provide the necessary training equipment.

TEAM ROOM:
CHILL, RELAX, TAKE ADVANTAGE

Self-contained kitchen and dining room with full cooking facilities to support all meals throughout training periods.

This includes free refreshments from the fridge and a coffee bar where our very own branded Columbian & Brazilian coffee is literally on tap and can be enjoyed on the sofas any time of the day.

Visiting units are very welcome to donate their patch/plaque to be placed on the walls as other visitors have.
